Most Ozil goal AI prompts you'll find online describe "a footballer scoring a goal" and hope for the best. The Özil goal is harder than that: it has four beats in eight seconds, two sliding defenders, a chip and a pause. Below are the Ozil goal AI prompts we tested while building our Ozil goal AI video generator, and the fixes that made the difference.
The base Ozil goal AI prompt
Use this with a model that supports reference images (so your photo becomes the scorer) and a 9:16 aspect ratio:
Vertical 9:16 football highlight filmed like a live TV broadcast: a packed
stadium under bright white floodlights at night, wet grass glistening.
The person from the reference image is the attacker and keeps their exact
face, hair, body shape and outfit, including their footwear.
One continuous tracking shot at real-time speed.
0-2s: they sprint onto a long ball toward goal while the goalkeeper in a
dark green kit charges out.
2-4s: they chip the ball with a gentle scoop of the foot and the ball loops
over the diving goalkeeper, who sprawls on the grass.
4-6s: they reach the ball rolling near the goal line and stop it dead under
the sole of their foot while two defenders in dark green kits slide in hard
and skid helplessly past them.
6-8s: they calmly tap the ball into the empty net with the side of the foot,
the ball hits the back of the net, and they turn to the crowd with both arms
raised as the stadium erupts.
They only touch the ball with their feet, never with their hands, and they
stay on the pitch outside the goal.
Realistic ball physics, natural body motion, exactly one white football.
Audio: roaring stadium crowd, a loud gasp as the defenders slide past, an
explosive cheer at the goal; no commentary, no music.
No text, no logos, no scoreboard, no club crests, no watermark.Three mistakes we hit (and the fixes)
1. "Lift the ball" = a handball
Our first prompt said the scorer "lifts the ball over the keeper". The model took it literally: grandma picked the ball up with both hands. Fix: say "chip the ball with a gentle scoop of the foot", and add "they only touch the ball with their feet, never with their hands".
2. The scorer ends up inside the net
Without a rule, the celebration often happens standing in the goal mouth. Fix: "they stay on the pitch outside the goal".
3. Naming the player gets you blocked
Many video models refuse prompts and photos linked to public figures. Writing "Mesut Özil" or "Arsenal" in an Ozil goal AI prompt can get the whole request rejected. Fix: never name the player, club or match — describe the choreography instead. The four beats are what people recognise.
Variations for your Ozil goal AI prompt
Swap the first sentence to change the night:
- Rain: "a packed stadium at night in pouring rain, floodlights cutting through the rain, spray kicking up from the soaked pitch"
- Snow: "a packed stadium on a snowy night, snowflakes swirling in the floodlights, a light dusting of snow on the pitch"
- Golden hour: "a packed stadium at golden hour, warm low sunlight and long shadows across the pitch"
Swap the outfit line for a kit:
- "keeps their exact face, hair and body shape but wears a plain bright red football kit with white socks and black boots, with no logos, crests or numbers"
Swap the celebration:
- "run toward the corner flag and drop into a long knee slide across the grass"
- "turn to the crowd and calmly hold one finger to their lips"
- "break into a joyful little dance in front of the crowd"
Photo rules that matter more than the prompt
- One adult in the frame, ideally head to toe.
- Even light on the face; no sunglasses.
- No celebrity photos (or lookalikes) — expect a refusal.
